Judy Schaffert recently retired as the chief staff attorney for the Arizona Supreme Court.  Earlier, Judy was an assistant Arizona Attorney General, a law clerk to Arizona Supreme Court Chief Justice William A. Holohan, and a liability insurance underwriter.  She studied English at Yale College and law at the UCLA School of Law.  Judy has served in the leadership of several local Jewish non-profits including Temple Solel, and she currently volunteers, teaches, and sings, some say quite tunefully.
